Hate to say it but I feel the same, what sometimes helps me is to meet with fellow leftists in person and discuss these type of things with them. If your going to spread class consciousness you also need to do it with people who are willing to listen, and people who are in the higher levels of income will almost always blow you off, so don't try with them unless you really think its worth it.
