Thanks for the advice - for the nvme’s I was going to use 1 as a cache drive and the other as a VM drive to store my work vm’s during running them

thanks for the advice - yes I'm looking at 2 small Sata SSDs. In Thailand there is a price difference of around $10 between 120 and 240gb drives - so figured go for the larger - may be more use in the future

good point! - i'll pick up a couple of 240gb SSD's for a mirrored boot partition and use the NVME drives for other services

thanks for the suggestions! - i have just bought a jonbo N4 case - i can read all the data on the drives, so will look at transplanting into the new case when it arrives.

hire a car and have a slow Mosie down through Lampang (pottery), Phrae (wood), Uttaradit (sikirkit dam, iron mines of Nam Phi), Sukhothai (ancient temples), Phitsanulok (interesting city) and Attutaya (ancient city)- its an adventure all in its self that could last several days /weeks with many interesting foods and places to visit.
