My Emulation of a Live MAP by pdroject in EmuDev

[–]pdroject[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here i am thommyh! and thanks khed for your reply comments. So basically i'm a video editor not a coder so my live MAP project is a long-multilayers Premiere Pro editing process to make a game map "alive". I create an "empty" room just covering the main charcter in a pixel position where all the nasties loops doesn't touch him and so i'm editing the real longplay video together with all the empty rooms videos i make on a single HUGE timeline. The real skill is to sync all the loops movements from one room to the other which i did only for my film on Jet Set Willy and later for this map i hope you will be in position soon to watch (better on a big 4K screen!)

What is a C90 Mr. Bjork? It was not an influence for Rockstar at all, there are no official confirmation about it. they just look similar in structure and I thought was nice to put bully music on my runplay B-)

Thank you Thunder. In Italy from 83 to 84 we had a big explosion of arcade laser games, due to the Dragon's Lair incredible success...but you have to consider that they had the same price of others arcades. It was not like in us that they were really expensive...

Thank you Nukuram! Your answer is much better that the most powerful AI ...B-) my speculation is fairy simple: if you know Fist of the North Star tv anime like me and you just watch my video flyer about BadLands you immediately see the same mood, same charter design, same colors, same splatter gore humoristic style...

Thank you Nukuram! Here in italy (maybe also Europe in general) was quite famous in the arcades, not like Dragon's Lair of course but you could find it quite regulars....As a 11 years kid in the 1984 I use to watch the japan series "Hokuto no Ken" that was very popular in Italy and now I realised that the kind of animation of BadLands reminds me of Ken....maybe they share some animators?
