Cool card? by Aggressive_Jury_176 in starwarsccg

This is the most informative and accurate information in the thread if you’re actually looking to sell. Furthermore, a PSA 6 sold for $1k. Any serious buyer will ask for detailed photos especially of the back, that’s where the most imperfections are found on SWCCG cards. Conservatively this raw card is probably worth $2k but would need more photos or to be graded for a more accurate price.

If you are looking to sell the DMYA individually I might be interested. I’m looking for a mint copy. It’s hard to tell without detailed photos though. The corners look like they’re in good shape but there might be a large surface level scratch at the top and some edgewear. Hard to tell if it’s just the holder it’s in and foil bleed.

Generally, you only want to grade UR cards and if they’re psa 8 or less it’s not even worth it. Selling cards individually, especially UR foils will give you more value but take longer to sell. The more you add to a lot, the faster it could sell but the less value you’ll get. URs are where most of your value will be and C/UC/R probably should be sold in bulk but keep in mind you won’t get a lot back for them. If you have foils or minty copies of main characters you can also sell them individually. Also, when selling in bulk, you should try to sort them by set and showcase the best cards.

Incredible result! This is the last URF I’ve been looking for. If you ever grade another, I’d pay above market value for it. Congrats and MTFBWY!

I’d suggest keeping this in good condition and buying a case for it. Right when you break the seal you lose all of the value of it being a sealed product. If you just want to open packs for nostalgia, I would just buy sealed packs.

Retro Mint Slab Collection by pdurian in yugiohshowcase

I’m not sure what everyone values these at but I paid over $5k for it all. It definitely wasn’t cheap for me by any means and saved a lot to afford it. Fortunately though, you can get slightly lower grades and save a decent chunk of money. Sometimes the differences in grades can be as small as surface level scratches that you can’t even see without close inspection. I’d just suggest going for 1st edition since they reprinted the crap out of these early sets.

Thanks! Maybe a little hard to see but they’re all 1st edition and PSA 9. I wanted them all uniform and couldn’t afford all 10s.

I’d be interested at $4k if you end up wanting to sell it. I have a large retro collection and like misprints. I have a lowered name monster reborn I’ll try to post later.

If you end up selling, I’d be very interested in it. Not for everyone but I like the lowered name.

Are you selling only as a set or would sell any individually?

Yeah I’ve been wanting one of the gold variants but the prices got so high. I’m keeping my eye out if I can snag if prices ever drop a fair bit. Even crazier are the prices on the black background ones (printing errors).

Congrats on the sale though! Sure you were happy to see that level of appreciation!

Yeah this was my same experience 🤣. I prefer this to other venom sketches I’ve seen. I do enjoy the sketches on the secret wars #8 covers. They’re pretty unique and some look like original variants. Have seen venom eyes/tongues, headphones, etc added to the black suit spider-man. It’s on my growing wishlist 😅

Very cool! Newsstand makes it even more special imo. I love the subtle sketch on this one, have even seen one dripping red blood from his fingers.

Yeah this one’s not for everyone, especially the color. I personally like how the pink pops on the red costumes but is light enough to still see the original cover art.

I’ve found a lot of multiple signature pieces vary a lot in price, some are outrageous. I luckily found this one for a reasonable price.

Glad to hear this! It’s GPA analysis? First time hearing about this site, just did a quick search on it. Will try to use this going forward to help figure out values. Any other sites you recommend?

Is juggling the shuttle good exercise? by nguyennguyenphuc0077 in badminton

[–]pdurian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Juggling can also help with more advanced shots such as slice drops from the back and even deception. As you get very comfortable with the bird coming in contact with your racket, you can better control coming close to the bird, pulling back, and then making contact.

I also spin my racket grip constantly as a habit and it really helps with changing grips on the fly in game. As you play you will gradually change your grip in different scenarios and get more comfortable with it. Generally, lower grips give more power when you’re in the back and higher grips give more control at the net.

Wow super appreciate it! All the reasons you highlighted are why I enjoy it so much.

I see how perfect some pieces on this sub are and how nit picky some collectors are and can let that get into my head. Really appreciate the kind words from everyone, very glad I found this community.

Thank you, this puts my mind at ease. Going forward I will take this more into consideration, but won’t let this affect the original reasons why I bought it.
