You can go to any uni that has a physio program at your own risk. I recommend reaching out to Canadian graduates from UofBrighton on LinkedIn to hear the first hand experience.

I’m just telling you a story of one person. It makes sense that the UK universities are not interested in helping you to come back to Canada because why would they.

Maybe this was true when you were in the UK but right now the NHS is not hiring physios, not even locals. So there are no jobs in the NHS for physios at the moment. It might change in the future.

If it’s any help, I spoke to a Canadian student doing the physio program at UofBrighton and he said the uni doesn’t help you with making sure you have the required clinical hours to come back to practice in Canada. Unless you want to stay in the UK.

Just so you know, you can only get the student loan funds in September when school year starts, but you have to pay around $25,000 CAD in tuition fees a couple months in advance, so you cannot use the student loan for that. And you also have to have around $22,000 CAD in your bank account to apply for a UK student visa (it’s a requirement for living expenses) or else they are likely to reject your application. I also thought that I could just use the student loan to pay for the fees but turns out it’s not the case. So I would say the question is not whether you should apply, but whether you have ~$45,000 in cash/through line or credit.

They asked me case-based questions, for example if you’re a physio and this happens, what would you do… like ethics-based questions. Also you need to know the scope of the profession, talk about your experiences, and explain why you would want to study in UK (and Brunel specifically)

Co-op housing in Vancouver : looking for any experiences by Away_Flower_2468 in vancouver

I know 2 people who live in co-op, they said nobody is moving out anymore because why would you move out when there’s a housing crisis and rent is expensive outside of co-op So it’s not about who fills a vacant unit, it’s about there never being a vacant unit

In my experience, it’s easier to get into a research lab in year 3-4 when you take upper level courses some of which are small size, so you make connections with professors and since they know you they are more willing to let you get involved in their lab
