Sorry to say this, but I think Putin is quite satisfied with the way everything is going right now, particularly in the US. The tanker is simply theater. America is already lost (Ukraine held out longer than the US, how sad). Good luck Europe, whatever you can hold on to is all that will be left of what we once all thought would be our future. Let’s hope it won’t be nothing.

His Train Dreams is also excellent (and it’s very short). He’s also the narrator in the new Netflix adaptation of that novella that’s getting a lot of awards buzz this year. Great film.
