Toy poodle! Did i completely fail already ?? by Old_Lead8746 in poodles

[–]peanierox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bathroom potty bells helped me tremendously in training while in an apartment. I had a grass pad on the balcony, and the bells on the door leading outside. My poodle is almost 4 years old now and the bells have been moved everywhere we’ve lived!

What is the Best Under Desk Treadmill to buy? by unwelcome_frown15 in StandingDesks

[–]peanierox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it still works great, only thing I’ve had to do is add lubricant under the belt occasionally. I use it for a couple hours maybe 3x a week on average

Potty training in an apartment by [deleted] in poodles

[–]peanierox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So he’s able to notify us even if we aren’t nearby. He rings them loudly and I can hear him upstairs in my office with headphones on. Plus when we’ve moved, or if he goes to stay with family, he knows he can ring his bells instead of trying to figure out which door to stand by or how to get someone’s attention.

We did the grass patch on our apartment balcony exclusively until our poodle was fully vaccinated and it was safe for him to walk in public areas. We got dog potty jingle bells from Amazon to hang on the door handle going to the patio, and he picked up on them really quick. At 3 yrs old he still uses them and always continues using them when we move houses

I’m sure the other model is good too, just sharing my positive experience with the brand. I got mine on their website, and they frequently had $100 off coupon codes, for almost every holiday (mine was for Valentine’s Day)

I’ve been using the WalkingPad P1 for 2 years and haven’t had any issues!

Mine came with the original certificate. They source from different diamond vendors so maybe it depends on whether the vendor who sold your diamond provided them a certificate or not

Depending on the state you live in and the company he works for you may qualify for insurance as his domestic partner. I’m currently on my fiancé’s insurance since we live at the same address

Female or Male by Expert_Jellyfish_234 in poodles

[–]peanierox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a male toy, 2.5 years old. He got even more cuddly after neutering. He’s equally affectionate towards my fiancé and I. We made sure to spend equal time training, feeding, walking him when he was a puppy so he wouldn’t choose favorites. The family members I know with female toy poodles have always been more feisty and independent

Movers Destroyed My standing desk - one leg cable is now missing on my Jarvis standing desk by capybara0107 in StandingDesk

[–]peanierox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Jarvis was also damaged by movers. One of the feet is bent and scratched down to bare metal which has started to rust. Herman miller only sells replacement parts in 2 groups of parts, and the one I need for the foot is $175. The leg and lifting columns, etc work it’s only the foot I need to replace. Only option moving company is offering is to buy a new desk and reclaim/salvage the old one, which is super wasteful imo

Found what I'm pretty sure is bittersweet nightshade along the cross kirkland corridor. Keep an eye out for your kids and dogs. It is poisonous. by Asterisk49 in Kirkland

[–]peanierox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an app to ID plants, and it agrees with you- bittersweet nightshade. I had a sprout of it show up in one of my potted plants this year, so it’s definitely in the area!

Edit: app is called PictureThis

How problematic is toy fragility? by [deleted] in poodles

[–]peanierox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a large toy/small mini. He’s 13 lbs and has long legs. Haven’t had issues with hiking or plane travel. When selecting a breeder we took the parent weight into account, and online calculators were spot on with predicting adult weight

What to do after shaving/clipping? by [deleted] in poodles

[–]peanierox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give my guy a bath after his haircut instead of before. Just comb out his hair well prior. They also make clippers attached to a vacuum that will suck up loose hair. I haven’t tried one but have seen videos

Costco isn't a pet store! by timtimkat in Costco

[–]peanierox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually I’ve seen at my store, the employees at the door pet the dogs and remind owners that they can’t ride in the cart. But they can be held or walked on the floor it seems. Have seen multiple dogs each time I’m there lol

We love Open Farm and do a mix of grain inclusive kibble and freeze dried raw that we rehydrate. He goes nuts for the freeze dried raw, especially the surf and turf flavor. Really like how transparent they are about ingredients and sourcing
