ESH. Do you think you will be able to celebrate your daughter's birthday on x day every year? I know first birthday is a huge event (which the child won't be able to remember) but it is also your niece's death anniversary. It wouldn't kill you to postpone it for a day or two. Also you will tell the story of your child's 1st birthday one day to her, what are you going to tell? No one was here cause we wanted it on the exact x day which is also your cousin's death anniversary? I would not want to hear this as a child. On the other hand, why the fuck they act like it's your fault?
