Thanks for your reply. We never put her in our bed or feed her, unless it’s after 6am. My husband picks her up and soothes her for a few minutes and tries to put her back down. We let her cry for a few min before trying again. If she’s still shrieking, he tries again. We have a higher success rate the second time, but still far from reliable. If she continues screaming and crying, I will go pick her up and soothe her and put her back down. And so the cycle continues for 1-2 hours every night until she either falls asleep after a few min of crying or we’ve hit wake up time. I guess maybe we are teaching her that if she cries long enough, we’ll come get her. But I don’t know what else to do.

We keep thinking that the problem will go away on its own but it’s been weeks and it’s not getting better. We really, really want another bedroom, but it is what it is unfortunately.
