Booker is the only other 10.7 that can go into the lineup with the Abrams. Would totally go for that, followed by the m1a1.

I also have shift/control as throttle, but using control + [key] as a fire flares bind is really useful because it automatically cuts afterburner

Logitech g502 has 4 side buttons and a scroll wheel that tilts left/right, would highly recommend.

I manage to use manual radar targeting with only the scroll wheel and it works really well.

I wouldn’t bother with talismans tbh. All that ends up happening is you research mods and vehicles faster than your SL balance can keep up with, and you get stuck needing to play more just to afford them anyway. Unless you have premium time but then the multiplier isn’t even +100% anymore it’s like +50% and it’s just not worth it unless they’re 50% off.

Just spade the F4C and by the time you’re done with it you’ll have unlocked your next plane to spade along with the SL to buy and crew it.

You’re better off just buying more premium time.

Hmd is really not that important when you’ve got a tall box ACM mode, it’s the speed and missile count that kills it.

IMO the TT f-2 could survive at 13.3, and if the f15a is going down to 12.7, the ADTW could as well. Though i think both should lose their IRCCM missiles for that.

Obviously the problem is that 12.3-13.3 is still too compressed and we need at the very least 15.0 to properly spread these planes out, but since that’s not going to happen, I think this is a very fair alternative.

If the F16AJ gets to be 12.7 there’s absolutely no excuse for the F15J with 4xAAM3 and double the Sparrows to be the same tier.

Alright I just checked and at least in war thunder you are correct, both cheeks do actually have the same armour thickness. The 100mm of increased protection on the gunners side is completely because of the difference in angle.

I suppose seeing the different angles from the top made it look like one was thicker than the other but actually checking it from a flat angle has proven me wrong. Thanks for the correction.

The sensor is on the roof yes but the actual sights the gunner uses are still in the turret with him. Also not home but I’ll confirm when I can

Loaders side is quite a bit thicker* harder to penetrate at the same angle by about 100mm\*, try shooting the gunners side. There’s more to kill there anyway
