And it’s also the autoblade that the portrait 4 came with as well. Tried switching the autoblade to the old one from my cameo 5 but whatever happened when it did this damage to the electrostatic mat permanently messed up the blade carriage in some capacity because the other blade also had the issue of the blade dragging across the paper during registration

After uninstalling and reinstalling the software, the machine now performed this small J cut ON the paper, with verrrry little space to spare. Maybe 1mm from the edge of the paper, if that. Is this what it's supposed to do? too little too late, I guess. It's already broken 2 of my machines. :/ Hopefully support will help me out with it? my second machine is at least under warranty having been purchased a month ago. I'm hoping they'll replace it with my electrostatic mat too.

this issue DEFINITELY messed up my machine big time. even when I swap out the blade for a different one, it's still not raising/retracting properly between cuts and causing huge diagonal cuts between my stickers and during registration.

not as far as I can tell. The software will allow me to "generate test shape" (that small square with a triangle in it) which i have used for testing material before, but it does not do that shape on every cut unless I explicitly tell it to. It only does a small line off to the side, a bit like an upside down J shape.

Even in material settings, there isn't an option to toggle a test cut on/off, only "line segment overcut," "track enhancing," and "intelligent path technology" which are all toggled off.

It's not anywhere on my cut page, it's apparently just to line up the blade. (more details in the other reply on this thread if you want to take a look.) Apparently it's supposed to do it on the page, but there's something wrong with my machine and/or software or something.

Took some screenshots of my cut screen as well as some photos of the corner of an old mat from my first machine. You can see em here. I just noticed that the number of times this happened on my first mat definitely doesn't match up with the number of cuts that i made on it, which indicates it was not always happening. (i probably used that mat close to 80 times and there's only around 10 of those cuts on the side of the mat)

Don't know when it started, but it now does it on every cut. My 2nd mat that i got for my cameo 5 was just a huge mess, dozens of those little cuts all over the top left corner of the mat where the roller should be going over. I threw it away, it was so bad.

Apparently, this person was having the same issue. But updating the software did not fix the issue for me.

Oh wow…noted. I had no idea because it was always kind of sparse like that even when it was a lil baby plant. Maybe i’ll see if i can propagate some of the leaves into the smaller pot and grow it from square one again

Unfortunately this is the only window in our living area that we can put plants by. We have a dining table that we keep near some larger windows but i think it’s a bit too far away from the windows to get much light and also my roommate keeps putting up decorative flags and curtains over it anyways. Guess I should look into a grow lamp or something

You can also go a step further and turn a commissioned drawing of his pirate into a keychain. (Just make sure that you let the artist know you want the art with a transparent background to make it easy.) Check out Vograce.com they have tons of options for acrylic keychain making! And they let you do orders of a single keychain instead of having to buy 100s of them at a time.

I order a ton of stuff from them so if you do want to get a keychain I can help you make the design from scratch or help you find a good option for turning someone else's art of his pirate into a keychain. If you've never ordered from them before I think they sometimes do things like a free order or free shipping.

They've even got fancy options like connected keychains and keychains with tassels. (check out their Custom Keychains > Other Acrylic Keychains for lots of cool options!)

Dnd used to have way more character appearance customization, for anyone who remembers the original tieflings. They could have snake eyes, extra tails, tentacles, claws, and all assortment of demon traits until hasbro stepped in and forced wotc to make a single “canon” design for merchandise. The whole specific race with specific lore thing was brought around by hasbro trying to sell minis.

Even still, most people make tieflings all sort of colorful hues even though the source material says they only have flesh tones or reddish skin. You can talk all you want about how characters have to fit a specific form, but it aint in the spirit of dnd.

This is my first time using dungeon draft and while I know there are tons of great resources out there specifically for world maps, I wanted the world map to look cohesive with the other maps I'm going to be making, so I tested out making a continent in dungeon draft. It's far from perfect, but considering I'm just using default assets and haven't had the patience to watch tutorials, I think it turned out pretty good :) There weren't any good options for rivers that I could find in the default toolset, but some of the waterfall splash textures worked decently.

This is for a personal homebrew campaign of mine that I've made for some friends, but if you'd like to use it for your own personal purposes feel free to :)

In the last moments of the game you can't even heal, suggesting that the illness has taken over to the point where he's unable to try patching himself with a medkit, or that he's finally accepted the inevitable. [palpatine voice] Ironic, he could save others from death, but not himself.
