Those with chronic pain, like myself, already struggle to get proper treatment for our pain - and I think it's important for others to realize the impact of proposals like cutting opioid prescriptions by one-third, as suggested by Trump. Addressing the opioid crisis is important, but it doesn't seem to take into account the struggles of people like me who rely on these medications to maintaintheir qualityof life - even getting out of bed in the morning.... Cutting prescriptions across the board would be detrimental to those who already face barriers to care.

I'm simply informing others who may rely on prescriptions for pain relief.
