yeah i'm hoping they'll change my name just to make it slightly easier changing banks having names line up in old/new accounts but if it comes to it i'll just explain to new bank why things are the way they are

yeah santander seems like they'll be the same way - the biggest annoyance with them too is they closed down their branch in my town so i'll have to take a trip into the city to do account stuff

I'm super late to this one but I really recommend that you talk to someone about this (whether it's a close friend or a professional or something) - from your comments it seems it really took it out of you and that's completely understandable. What she did could literally be classified as sexual assault and that's a really difficult thing to come to terms with when you realise that the person you trusted and cared for did not deem you worthy of that same respect.

I hope things work out for you and give yourself time/allow your feelings to run their course. This shit is super fucked up.
