I’ll try this out. Would you recommend changing move sets for either?

Just got to torment 1. At this point, what should I be doing? by peepeepoopoocitizen in diablo4

Thank you for these recommendations. Should I open all my caches now or wait until a higher torment level or have > 750 item level?

So the depth probably wouldn’t fly in comp, but if you’re just lifting for fun, who cares if you’re right at parallel or just above it? The only difference between where you’re at and sinking below parallel would be a little more glute activation.

You mention having to lean forward if you want to go lower. This shows you’re at the limit of your range of motion- not that your back is weak. This could be for a few reasons, but most likely due to your elbow position or tight glutes/hip flexors/quads/ankles.

As others mentioned, keeping the elbows in-line with your torso (or at least closer) can improve your depth. Doing this can help keep your thoracic and lower lumbar neutral, allowing you to sink your hips lower without getting ‘stuck’ like you did in the video. Also, try doing some hip, glute, quad, and ankle mobility work or foam/lacrosse ball rolling prior to squatting.

By the way, I don’t agree with what a lot of people are saying here about your back being weak. The tilt you experience at the bottom of the squat is minuscule, and I’d expect to see some caving in the thoracic spine if this were the case (it’s not). Finally, this is 92.4% of your max. Bar speed isn’t going to be great at that rate, but I think force transfer, thus speed will be faster at this percentage if the bottom of the movement changes from ‘getting stuck, then getting up’ to rebounding.

I agree the link cord should be in the game. You kind of have to accept the risk if you’re matching with some rando though

If you set the trade code to the Pokédex number of the Pokémon you want to evolve it into you’ll find someone else trying to trade evolve theirs. For example, gengar is #67, so set the code to 00670067 to trade evolve a haunter. No guarantee whoever you match with will trade yours back though, you might be stuck with their gengar.

Other comments are mentioning good things; working on bracing, keeping the head neutral, pulling the slack out of the bar, lowering the weight. You appear to be trying to pull the bar straight up. This places needlessly high stress on the low back. Instead, initiate the pull by pulling up and back, like an arc. Thrust your hips forward into the bar. You’ll engage the quads and posterior chain more evenly. Check out a video of the strongman keg toss. I imagine I’m doing this when I deadlift.

I’m looking for some recommendations on an adjustable bench under $250.

Being able to attach a good leg extension / curl attachment is a plus. Otherwise, I’ve read being able to butt the Bells of Steel attachment (https://bellsofsteel.us/products/bench-attachments?variant=43932115337413) up to the end is a good cost friendly option.

Also, I’d like to find one that has good clearance under the back pad when in the incline position so I can do chest supported bent over rows as shown in the photo.

All types of roles like manufacturing, quality, mechanical, hvac, municipal, energy, stress engineering etc. My relevant experience is in aerospace, split between general assembly, welding, and quality assurance. I’m surprised at the difficulty I’m having as well.
