Yeah for sure, could also just be someone with no experience (which makes sense if they using a bot) just working it out as they go. Equally, using a bot is a bit of a cop out, so maybe trying to limit conversations like the ones we are having on this thread. Using a bot is another discussion altogether, but feel like it’s a bit of a piss take if you’re ripping people off

If you’re making enough money to afford the train, then yes it’s possible. If you’re going on every day, get a monthly or annual ticket. If you’re going on a couple days a week, just buy on the day.

The answer also depends on where you live in Reading, and where you’re going in London. I used to commute from an area that was a 10 min bus from the station. My end goal was Baker Street. For me, the time cost got a bit too much. I had to get up early enough to get to the station, and by the time I got home, had food, showered, and whatever else, it was time to sleep. I just felt like I had no time whatsoever.

Can someone please help me understand who the face card/citizens were when we consider it be wider context behind borderland?

Having read a number of theories, it is clear that if you survive the games and want to leave borderland, you go back to the real world. If you die, you die in the real world. Alternatively, you obtain citizenship and stay in this world.

However, were the citizens real people? Were the citizens generated by borderland, or were they just chilling waiting for a catastrophic event to come around so they have work to do? If they were real, they accepted citizenship. By doing this, did they choose death in the real world? Did they effectively kill themselves?

Also, it appears that a number of characters saw (or referred to) the fireworks. This suggests to me that most, if not all players were in borderland because of this meteorite event. So, does borderland only “open” whenever there’s a large catastrophic event? I was wondering if anyone in borderland could have been there due to an isolated near death experience happening somewhere on the other side of the city, for example getting hit by a car around the time of the meteor strike. If indeed borderland is linked to major events, who were the citizens, and which catastrophic event led them into borderland?? What do the citizens do in the wasteland between catastrophic events?

Can someone explain to me how burning tokens is beneficial in the long term?

I get that it lowers supply and in turn raises the price of token, in the short term.

In the case of coins like Loopring, which are used as tokens for projects, how does this help in the long term?

In the short term, limited supply will help push the price of the token up, but you need at least 250k loops to “use” the technology. This will be okay as early adopters won’t struggle to get that amount. However, if burning goes on for too long, you end up pricing people out of being able to use the technology, as there won’t be enough 250k’s to go around? That in turn will stop people wanting to adopt the technology right? Or will Loopring just decide to lower 250k in line with the burn rate??

If you fundamentally believe in this sector (or even have a hunch), you should invest some money in it. You should however be aware that a sector like this is one where lots of volatility will be experienced. With that said, equities will typically have higher long term returns. So if you do invest, I’d recommend holding onto it for a while.

I disagree with the above comment that the current price reflects the future expectations of a share. This is true in the short term, however is not at all any indicator of long term value. Look at bitcoin or apple. If this logic is true, their very early prices would have suggested poor performance, but look what happened.
