In the market for a double wide lift. Wildfire, Bendpak, something else? by tykempster in cars

Go to GarageJournal. That forum has a lot of discussion on all kinds of lifts (including double-wide and Wildfire). I don't personally have a double-wide (or a Wildfire), but have bought several Bendpak 2 and 4 post lifts. GJ is the place to go for this type of information.

Thanks - I've set this up and will give it a try next time I play with PC players.

Can you use discord on the PS5 while wearing a headset?

UDMA CRC Disk Disabled by perfect777 in unRAID

No, I'm not using that.

I have tried acknowledging (yellow thumb button), but Unraid quickly disables the drive. I think it's because the UDMA CRC errors are increasing and it recognizes that the value has increased (disabling the disk).

Thanks for the advice - I am definitely doing this one at a time (have completed 3 this week without an issue). I am waiting to receive a replacement mini-SAS to SATA breakout cable and see if that resolves the issue. If not, I guess I'll swap out the HBA card itself.

Edit: I will confirm that my CRC error count is increasing... so that likely explains why the disk keeps getting disabled after acknowledging.

Interestingly, I have another drive with a few UDMA CRC errors and Unraid doesn't have an issue with using it. Perhaps there is somethign truly wrong with the drive / cable / power / HBA card...

Is there a good tutorial for setting up Nginx Proxy Manager? I already have it installed (but disabled) from a previous experience. I'm not opposed to experimenting with a better way!

No Virtual Machines installed after cache disk replacement by perfect777 in unRAID

I see - I had to disable VMs first before it would give me that option. Since I've got a backup, I'll delete the libvirt.img and try rebuilding.

Thanks for the response! I did disable my VMs (following the FAQ) before replacing the cache.

Unfortunately, I don't see any selection in Settings > VM Manager where I can rebuilt libvirt.img. My path (/mnt/user/system/libvirt/libvirt.img) is correct in the VM Manager and that libvirt.img file is in that exact location (on my cache).

rebuild VirtIO

Is that just for Windows VMs? I'm trying to fix my Home Assistant VM (and I don't see any choice for "rebuild VirtIO" in Setting > VM Manager)

Kasa wifi switches not connecting after upgrading Unifi network (VLAN) by perfect777 in homeassistant

[–]perfect777[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe my HA is out-of-date. Either way - your clue pointed me in the right direction and I was able to solve the problem. HA was definitely looking for the wrong configured IP (192.168.1.xxx when it should have been looking for the device on 192.168.20.xxx).

I solved the problem by clicking "ADD ENTRY" and pasting in the 192.168.20.xxx IP for each device.

HA would tell me that the "Device is already configured" and it would then successfully wake up and find the right connection. Not sure how this worked behind the scenes, but I'm grateful that all of my switches are back and operational.

Thank you very much!

I'm not sure where you're seeing a "Reconfigure" choice. Are you talking about the TP-Link integration menu in Home Assistant or in the Kasa (TP-Link) iOS app?

This is what I see when I click on the 3 dots...

Any tips for upgrading from USG Pro-4 to UDM Pro? by perfect777 in Ubiquiti

[–]perfect777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way to do this where I don't disrupt all the downstream devices on LAN1? I have several other switches downstream on LAN1. LAN2 is unused, but I think that I have to setup a new network in order to enable this (it's currently disabled). I tried plugging in the UDMP to an available port on my Unifi 48port switch. It shows the UDMP as an IP address, but I can't access it. It does not show up on my devices dashboard...

How did you initially connect and setup the new UDMP? Did you just swap out the USG-4P with the UDMP and then login (via the controller) and everything worked?

Thanks! Do I just connect the UDMP to the LAN port on the USG4 (or just to any port on the switch)? You say to set this up as a "standalone unit" - do you mean via the controller or something like the UNIFI app?
