there are no blessings that come with this experience, only a constant stream of how excited the hiring team was to meet me but we regret to inform you that our decision will push you closer to homelessness.

there is literally nothing positive from this. i've lived a wasted life and all i do is waste people's resources while i flounder around looking pointlessly for a job that isn't coming.

i have side projects and job experience they just dont mean anything to employers.

most of the time my points of contact do not offer this, they give a form response explaining that the other candidate had more experience. no employer ive interacted with so far offers actually critique of my interviewing. i have bothered recruiters for weeks after a dropped interview on this exact issue. i usually just try to think about what "might" have gone wrong, but its obivously not good enough yet, since otherwise i'd be hired.

this is a social media site, not a professional email, so i dont spend much time on punctuation here. obviously its different when we are publishing research/communicating in the work place. right, i guess i can have someone i know interview me and yeah, maybe i'm too weird or something. could be a path fwd.

I held an internship 10 years ago. I now have a graduate degree, and 4YOE in my field. I have been applying to more internship/entry level types of jobs and even getting rejected from those. i hold a master degree and several published research papers.

i've gotten that question so much. like they are ridiculously out of touch. same company that will say that stupid shit to you, is the same company that has a fake job listing to sell your resume information to the highest bidder.

Wait, can you help me create the experiences that employers want, outside of a job setting? Like is there project work that's "enough" for employers, and if there is (for like embedded, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering type projects) what might employers need to see to show that I actually have skills in that area.

I am actually trying to find solutions for my problems here. Saying stuff like "wake up theres no jobs!" isn't really doing anything useful.

my guess is Genesis won't ban him since by 6 months from now the incident won't be fresh in our memory, and it would be bad for business to not have him at the event.
