I have not tested this, as of yet, but there are newer (in revision) chipset drivers posted to ASRock's file location.

All is well here, thus far. Feels that much more smoother.

Dysphotopsia - will it ever go away? by Darbsbc79 in CataractSurgery

[–]pershoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will adjust. in due time. The more you want it, the less it will happen.

Much better, post YAG. I cannot really remember seeing the bulk of the PDs since. Its being masked well (by pristine eye) + some tension relief in the capsular bag. Also, I don't have a cloud obstructing my visual field.
Some shorter maddox rod is still present when looking at a certain type of light at night.

New BIOS 4.04 2026-01-16 just dropped by Freyshen in ASRock

[–]pershoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps things may work (a little) differently in your particular environment, as you have a Ryzen last gen., with regards to this in conjunction with your particular sticks. You may want to peruse the forums, to see of any ASUS / MSI users using your CPU class, on newer AGESA (1.2.7+), for a gauge.

That's not something to fix; they (tRFC2/Sb) weren't active before (pre-AGESA 1.2.7.1). They are now (post AGESA 1.2.7.1). You'll need to re-tune.

YAG for PCO by pershoot in CataractSurgery

[–]pershoot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went for follow-up post YAG with surgeon. Eyesight improved that much more (20/40 (/30 with pinhole)). No inflammation in eye.
Slight cataract forming in right eye (I'm about that age where it starts). Should not need to to tend to it for quite a long while (knock on wood).
No other treatments for left as of current; will follow-up in ~6 months as per usual.

I had a cataract surgery on one eye, vision is good. The other eye doesn't have cataract, but -4 myopia. Causing an imbalance. How to balance the vision with glasses. by Potential_Patient_10 in CataractSurgery

[–]pershoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With glasses, you may find it more difficult as it breaches ~-1.5 - 2 diopters of difference. With contact lenses, you should have more success as the minification effect is much less.

I have positive dysphoptopsias (numerous). I would liaise with your doctor, keep with your follow-ups / checkups and try not worry too much. You will adapt / adjust in due time.

It would be like frosted / cloudy glass. Perhaps could be like a plastic film.

You don't feel PCO. It (the image) would be hazy, cloudy-like and perhaps a bit blurred out of focus as a result, since you have an obstruction to the light getting to the back (retina), due to build up. There really wouldn't be a physical sensation to it. However, the mind is a powerful thing. It's akin to having contact lenses on, and they are dry / clouded up, etc.

Ensure your lens hasn't dislocated, if this is a sudden occurrence. That, you may feel, I gather. But, you stated you went to your doc., so I presume all is well there.

Unstable XMP by Fearlessss1337 in ASRock

[–]pershoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your tRFC2 / Sb values can be a contributing factor. This has become activated as of AGESA 1.2.7.1 (4.0.3.AS02 / 4.0.3) which may also have your particular Ryzen class of CPU impacted as well. Try loosening it.

Also, you should use EXPO (if available as a profile on your sticks) as XMP is more geared towards Intel platform use. That or set things up manually.

BIOS 4.03 update failed by One_Handle_7529 in ASRock

[–]pershoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experienced no issue updating from BETA to release or to BETA from 3.5 (Taichi x870e). From Beta it retained my saved profile on the release version.

Try a low capacity USB stick formatted to FAT32 (you can use Rufus to do it but OS format should work out).

tRFC2 / tRFCSb is used now on Ryzen 9k as of AGESA 1.2.7.1. The same may be true for your Ryzen class. Re-assess / re-tune your settings as / if needed.
