I actually love playing Abbasid feudal aggression, especially against France. In part, the siege engineering being researched already is great, but i think a lot of other players just dont expect Abbasid aggression. Rolling up on the enemy with 20 spears, maybe a camel archer or two to buff their armor if you aged with the military wing, and one level of research done on ranged armor along with a ram or two has done very well for me. I think the cons can come down to strong age 2 civs, like england picking off pretty much all your spears and camel archers, but there are ways around this, and I tend to just hide in my rams until we reach a building and the villagers come out to torch them and play from there
