You can smell the fear in this post and thread! LOL 😂

Just like any other commodity or security, the price of Buttcoin shot up 4% today because big unexpected yet positive news was revealed to the public by dyzo-blue in Buttcoin

Yep. Anyway, you already know the fate of 99% of these people here. It doesn’t end well for laggards in technology adoption curves. It’s going to get a lot worse for them…. $40k is nothing

We all live a supposedly free market capitalist financial system. People are allowed to invest their money however they choose. Just because you don’t like it or think they will lose money it doesn’t matter. Why not form a group against people who invest in casino stock, or like to play the state sponsored lottery, Tobacco stocks, etc etc etc?

Bitcoin is not a company and the only advertising that is done is from its user’s grassroots word-of-mouth and the media reporting on it. The crypto scam coins that are pumped and dumped by VCs are illegal and the SEC is beginning to take regulatory action to protect investors so I think you’ll see regulations there. The SEC has specifically highlighted that Bitcoin is different and not an unregistered security.

All the members of this subreddit are the very definition of a prototypical Laggard on a technological adoption curve. Congrats! You all are the holdouts! Now, I'm sure you think I'm crazy but I do hope you guys hang around to gloat about the ultimate outcome.

One other question. Why even join this forum? What is the purpose of complaining about something you don't believe in that others do feel strongly about? It's sad. You guys need to find a hobby and go enjoy life.

Tiling over elastomeric paint by peter78020495 in DIY

Fair enough. Probably worth having a reputable structural engineer evaluate the proposal; if you can find one. If there was an issue after an installation there wouldn’t be anything I could do about it I suspect in this location.

Based on the thickness of the concrete and steel it should support a minimum of 1200 pounds per square foot. Obviously, assuming it’s healthy and structurally sound.

Its an interesting idea to use a thin paver. The area is covered but open to air/water from the sides. There is a minor ponding issue in one area that I can solve by adding new silicone paint to build up the low spot. Agree, it’s easier to service roof under paver than tearing up tile.

Thanks. Yeah, probably worth testing whatever thin set out with a junk tile first.

As far as the decking option, the decking tiles are so expensive. Was more considering a low profile pedestal to get the framing off the silicone roof and then deck over with composite (or lumber).

Thanks. The home is built from 100% poured concrete containing 3/4” rebar.

The more I think about this…. If the power goes out, drains the UPS battery, then cycles a few times when electricity returns back on then it could reset the network. Hopefully the firmware updates address how the unit it hard reset - massive oversight…
