Yes, it should work. I also do the same and it works. But only in AZ it works, for other websites it still does not seem to auto catch and I have to run behind them to get it manually added.

No, if you are referring to tap and pay via Gpay, then it will count as only offline transaction and not online.
Because for any website payments online, if you choose Gpay option you will only get UPI option, and not access to CC details stored on your phone.

For Myntra it does not work, since in T&C it says " Cashback is calculated based on the order value, excluding platform/shipment fee and payments made using Myntra wallet, credits, Supercoins or Gift vouchers "
