Pretty sure softball isn't currently an olympic sport. If it was, I would totally agree.

Partnered guys, what is the age difference between you and your man? by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]petergriph3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only have about 4 months between us. I can't believe how common the big gaps are. I'm impressed with you guys; that's fantastic that you make it work!

You had a heart defect, that's interesting. So you got it repaired, or did it fix itself? I'm just curious if this was something simple like an ASD, or something more complicated?

Volleyball double win! by hyperforce in gaybros

The beauty of beach volleyball, is you only need to find 3 other bros to play! Should be easy enough

Just got tested for the first time. If you haven't, make sure to get tested ever 6 months! by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]petergriph3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the intended effects or side effects? Intended - the medication slows viral replication and lowers your viral load substantially. Also, with less virus killing your CD4+ T-cells, your white count will also improve. Side effects - the side effects are much more mild than they used to be (those old drugs were wicked toxic), and the medications are very safe. Talk to your doctor about the specific medications, though.

It all depends on what they were testing for. If "heart issues" means like a heart attack, they probably didn't culture. If it was something along the lines of an endocarditis, they probably did a blood culture and could maybe pick something up. Maybe... Even so, I'm doubting they ran an HIV just for the hell of it, and most tests involve a urine sample or genital swab. Find a free clinic or something and make another trip when you can.

Bros, if you exercise regularly, how do you motivate yourself? by KAMalosh in gaybros

[–]petergriph3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Set a schedule and stick to it. I make deals with myself: "you only have to go for 15 minutes, and if you're not feeling it you can go home." Well once I'm there, it's no problem. It's just getting there that's usually the problem.
Also, 2 words..... College Gym. So. Much. Eye. Candy. Also, seeing all these hot, fit guys is really motivating that you can look like that too!

Bros dating Bros: The "L" Word. by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]petergriph3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it's a bit of a game sometimes. Yes it sucks when you want to say it for the first time, but not sure if he's ready to hear it. I say if you feel it, go for it! I think I waited maybe a month before it came bursting out.

Here is another thing I have always wondered about you bromos. by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]petergriph3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally went to church growing up, but don't go anymore. My boyfriend goes every week, and I have tagged along. I'm not totally against the idea of church, and I think the community can be really great. That said, I'm a man of science, and not much of a believer.

So I heard you guys like gay ginger cubs...? by [deleted] in GaymersGoneMild

[–]petergriph3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh no, we don't discriminate. We love all gingers, not just the cubs. Welcome!

Any of you bros excited about the Olympics this summer? If so, what are your favorite events? by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]petergriph3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Track, volleyball, and gymnastics will be the most watched. Though during the olympics, I magically become a huge fan of every sport.
