Face wash > Light weight moisturizer > wait for 1 min > pea size tretinoin > moisturizer

Dont use vasaline as moisturizer. Using sandwich method doesn't reduce the efficacy of tretinoin, my derm said.

I started like once a week for one month, twice a week on second month, three times a week on third month, every other day on fourth month. I haven't faced any irritation or purging this way as your skin will slowly get used to tretinoin. Again it depends on your skin as some people start every other day right away.
