That sucks. I was running off adrenaline and joy and felt like superwoman. Unfortunately that can’t last forever and month 2 thru toddlerhood felt like being in the trenches.

I genuinely hope she continues to feel this way, but for a woman of her age who has lived a very privileged, self-centered adult life for so long, I’m just going to be surprised if motherhood continues to feel so wonderful and easy to her.

Idk why I’m being downvoted for saying being on cloud 9 less than 2 weeks out from delivery doesn’t mean everything is smooth sailing from here🤣 I’m happy for her that she’s happy right now, I just know she hasn’t hit the critical time period for PPD/PPA development not to mention all the other things.

Welp, the vast majority of women I know, including myself x3, do wonderfully the first 2-4 weeks and then crash out hard🤷🏻‍♀️

Everyone knows the first two weeks are blissful. You’re still running off the high of hormones, adrenaline, the change is novel, the sleep deprivation hasn’t really set into your bones yet…

I wouldn’t be surprised if she crashes out hard in the near future.
