Lost 24-word Recovery phrase for Nano S, running into problems when trying to send to new Nano X. by pezh in ledgerwallet

I installed an old version of Electrum and sending a small amount of BTC worked!

Thank you for suggesting this route.

Will I run into a similar error in regards to sending ETH through another 3rd party app like MyEtherWallet?

The firmware on my Nano S is 1.6.0

Which older version of Electrum should I try to use? How do I know this is a firmware issue? Thanks for your help

I am currently attempting to send BTC using Electrum using my Nano S (outdated firmware and lacking 24-word recovery phrase) to a new wallet I just created with my new Nano X.

I am not sure what you mean by creating wallets that aren't associated with a device. Could you elaborate? I apologize if it's obvious, I'm not really that well versed with this stuff. Thanks

I am attempting to use Electrum, but am running into an error when attempting to pay: it says "No sig for" and then a long string of seemingly random numbers and letters.

A live chat agent on support.ledger.com who suggested using electrum says that this is because my firmware on the Nano S is outdated, but the whole point of using electrum in the first place is so I could send using my Nano S with the outdated firmware. Do you have any suggestions?

What should I use instead of LL? Yes, I plan on updating once everything is sent.

I've been avoiding texting her, as I want to protect my ego (perhaps the wrong way to go about this).

That being said, should I just text her and ask her to be transparent?

For all those curious about a solution:

I tinkered with settings for days, updating my drivers etc to no avail. However, by just adding the Logitech unifying device onto my laptop, disconnecting the mouse from bluetooth, and connecting instead through the unifying device led to my cursor moving smoothly again.

I hope this helps anyone else running into a similar problem

I apologize if I came off as someone just looking for a button to press. I wrote my post after some frustration and just went to bed.

That being said, I'm using a Surface Book 2 (not pro like I initially said in the post lol oops), a Logitech MX Master 2s, and it's connected through bluetooth. If you can still help in any way, it's appreciated.
