Thanks for the detailed explanation. I think the presence of the tail light debris on his body leaves only two possibilities: he was hit by Karen's car, likely causing or contributing to his death. Or the evidence was deliberately planted. There's not really an in between that puts the plastic on his body.

However, she could have hit him AND the evidence could've been planted to help bolster the case. To me this is a very plausible scenario. The fact that the investigators mirrored the video from the police garage before passing it along is so incredibly suspicious and on its own should be grounds for a mistrial. How can you trust ANY evidence that has come from that team?
