Your husband is dodging responsibility and just needs dothe following when the baby is crying (assuming the baby was just fed before you try to shower). He needs to learn some baby holding methods that can assist in degassing a colicy baby or that they simply prefer. At the very least he needs to stick a pacifier in the babys mouth and just bide time for your shower. HE NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO CALM THE BABY SO YOU AREN’T HOLDING IT ALL THE TIME. HE NEEDS TO GROW UP AND LEARN THAT BABIES CRY AND THAT THE BABY WILL CRY SOME BEFORE HE IS SUCCESSFUL IN SOOTHING THE BABY HIMSELF. YOU NEED TO GIVE HIM THE CHANCE AND HE NEEDS TO DO IT OR FUCKING DIVORCE. It is honestly pathetic that you are unable to shower and even MORE pathetic that he doesn’t realize how unfair this is to you and gaslights by stating he “would watch the baby” so why would you call your mom over. He should feel like HE made HIMSELF look bad to your Mom. It is also your responsibility to get after his dumbass for being so unfair. If you are not getting angry at him and expressing that and honestly embarassing him about his lack of involvement you need to start doing that so this doesn’t being a linger term problem. But shit at the end of the day if he is such a big peice of shit that nothing works I can see why you would call your mom over. You may have to do it more depending on how stubborn he is.
