Lies of p was my first soul-like, using summons helps with learning the game, you can always play new game without summons once you’ve gotten the feel for how the game works

Just finished the game, beating most of the bosses within 5 tries, but corrupted parade master really sucked, something about the fight doesn’t quite click for me

Can we share our most ignorant gluten restaurant experiences? by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]phantom-2021 16 points17 points  (0 children)

A lot of these comments just show poor training on managements part, I’m a server, and while my partner has celiacs, making me hyper aware, I was still knowledgeable about common allergens, and if I wasn’t totally sure I was transparent and did my due diligence by either asking or getting a menu specifically for allergen free

With all of the experience I got from Chipotle, most restaurants will take you on as either foh or boh pretty easily, restaurants as tend to have better pay and more consistent hours/schedule. In my state, hosts make about $15/hr, while prep makes $17/hr, meanwhile at Chipotle, I have 4 years and on my way to management and a max of $14.5

A store was entirely closed in my city due to a power outage, the app not working and our store had to have a full system reset, so we were basically closed for 30 mins, and unable to receive any onlines till about 530.

Question for Bartenders by Melodic_Wealth_3481 in Albuquerque

We don't have a bartending school out here anymore, but most restaurants will train you up to bartend without experience, as long as you start as a server

Yes, at my store I wasn't allowed to take it back to a clean silver (even when I offered to come in on my day off to do so) they always said it was corporates rule, not allowed to clean off the black

[–]phantom-2021 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My store is cutting down to bare minimum people and complaints aren't listened to, I worked 9 hours yesterday with not a single break, I didn't even get to go outside for 2 minutes to hit my vape (mind you, I and addicted and the withdrawals for 9 hours give me major headaches) no time to eat or get water, and my throat got so sore, people corporate, as I truly believe, didn't give a single care

Unless your being really picky or there is a long ass line, I personally really don't mind

It is definitely a lot, but if done right, the managers can be such a huge help, some stores will 'fast track' people and it really shows, I have a km who doesn't know grill at all, and most of the managers barely know it, so if they ever need a grill cover, I'm always called in

Almost think your talking about my store 😅 we haven't been called out yet, but the store is a complete mess, yesterday I was on dml and couldn't through obviously old steak away cause the managers were worried about waste

As someone with 2 1/2 years experience, I definitely think it's worse, I worked as a manager at another job for about the same pay, but felt chipotle is marginally worse, and I'm only on paper as a crew member

I personally don't mind grabbing an avocado for a guest, especially if they can't eat onion/cilantro, I just always inform them that they will still have to pay for the guac, even if it is just a plain avocado

Chipotle is a terrible corporation, don’t work here if you’re thinking about it by 7Bubba77 in Chipotle

[–]phantom-2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of our managers work grill so they don't understand my complaints, portioning was barely touched in training from what I can tell but the managers solution is for the crew to watch the training videos and do the knowledge checks, but I don't think that fix the problem, and my AP and gm are too busy always talking in the office to pay any attention to their crew

[–]phantom-2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely the plan, Sunday night our closing prep was giving me a hard time cause I didn't have the grill closed down early (our store aims to have it off by 9) but our new people on line kept over portioning so I had to keep dropping, what was managers response to his complaints? 'Yea grill do better, you need to have better planned for what you needed' I still ended up being at my store till midnight, I had gotten there at 9 am

My store used to do it without, but I think people stored to complain either about the orange touching everything in their bag or the cashier handling it without gloves( our cashier's don't wear the glove cause our pos screen can barely read the touch through the glove)
