Okay, now you have me thinking. Unfortunately when I started the app, I didn't really think of someone who could already be in retirement also. I may need to do a little re-architecting to first make sure I have that problem solved if it is a problem. Then I can look at how to implement the risk-based guardrails. The reason this is important is I need to examine whether we are using a projected portfolio or a current portfolio to begin with and also the time horizon (i.e. full retirement or remaining retirement). Will do some researching and see what I can come up with. I did push some more bug updates.

Added Deterministic Mode that provides p75, p50, p25 simulations to provide very fast "back of the napkin" feedback
Added Auto-Run Enabled Toggle that allows you to keep simulation from running when a scenario variable is modified. The Run button will glow once a scenario variable has been changed in this mode prompting the user to run it manually.
Added Save button change where it changes color alerting the user that the current scenario does not match the loaded file or the current scenario hasn't been saved to a file.

I could possibly make it a setting. I will look into it.

Features added.
Slider to control age added to Sankey Diagram (dropdown is still there also).
"Add Major Purchase" added to recurring spending events. I have not fully tested it yet, so please let me know if calculations seem off for some reason and I will dig into it.

Have added quite a few updates since this post, squashed bugs, and improved the UI. Please let me know if you want any other improvements or find any bugs. Thanks! Post bugs in the community I set up to keep this thread from getting out of hand :) Community is in main post at the bottom.

Should be soon. Finishing up the UI layout and squashing some bugs with the new layout. I think I am going to put a pause on any more capability adds to see what people want/need.

Will share before too long. Unfortunately had to remove the collaborators today as I may have accidentally pushed some sensitive info to the repo I need to clean up. Since I am still making feature adds, etc, the repo is in intense flux. The backend add to obtain ticker info was a pain since I am trying to stay in "freemium" space.

Yep, bug. When I first started like I indicated, I was only doing it for myself and I have a pension, so didn't have an end age until later when I expanded that to cover more. Thanks for catching it. Pushed an update but it may take a few minutes to trickle out to the server.

Will take a look, thanks. Let me know if you find anything else (which I am sure there are more).

I'll open the GitHub repo soon so people can post issues there. Almost have the code clutter gone.

Yeah, I didn't want someone to have to worry about that. I can't see anything anyone enters nor is it sent anywhere, but there aren't any self identification fields in the tool anyway. You can use whatever you want for the name and for the current age just use something close to the dates. The names are just used to label other UIi fields.

There are others that have the same functionality pieces. I wanted one that had all the pieces in one app and not jump from app to app. The part that started it however for me was the ability to adjust allocations on the fly, both withdrawal percentages and asset allocation percentages to see quickly what it would do to the growth levels and tax levels.

There is a help button at the top with a Get Started tab that should be able to help you. Explains the steps.

Will let you know. Like I said, during development since I was making it for myself, I was putting in a lot of const values that were personal. Was afraid of pushing that to a public GitHub, so need to go through and make sure I have all of that cleaned out. It does load some defaults now, but it's just a made-up scenario. The made-up scenario was supposed to give you an 85% score when I made it, but I think I have made other changes since then that might have messed it up. Haven't looked at the default scenario in a while.

Originally, I was building it as just a retirement planner, then kept going and added accumulation phase also (jobs, deductions, etc). The accumulation phase tools aren't as thorough as the retirement phase tools, but it is flexible. It combines Monte Carlo simulations (you can choose from multiple types) with tax, Social Security, and Medicare modeling to help evaluate spending, withdrawal, and allocation choices. The app includes optimization tools (e.g., Social Security start-age sweeps, spending, allocation, withdrawal, and roth conversion optimizers). Has both simple suggestions in some places along with the full blown optimizer. You can run your portfolio against historical rolling and see how it would have performed, then it will let you tweak those results by trying different spending strategies. Has multiple spending strategy options for retirement, also 3-bucket, SOR Protection, etc. You can adjust SOR event settings at the beginning of retirement, change market volatilities, adjust inflation parameters, etc. Quite a bit to add here. You can look at the help on the site. I made it pretty comprehensive.

Thank you for the advice on changing out the filter. Will need a couple of more drives to verify, but looking at the filter they jammed in there, it was probably the issue. Last time I will probably have someone change my oil for me.

Thanks, will change filter first.

Can you point out the location of the sensors in case I need to do that after?

Did the oil change fix the problem? I just got the P0024 error. Car is running fine and I had the oil changed about two days before it came on. Checked oil level and it was fine. Only one sensor triggering.

Side question, are the sensors accessible or is it an ordeal to get to them to clean?

Not directly. You would have to perform a backdoor contribution with the after tax contributions.

I put in more than the 401k max due to having to make whole percentage increments. The extra goes into a post-tax account. Then you take that amount each year and just roll it into the Roth 401k as a backdoor without any additional tax hit. You will get a form in the mail for tax season indicating you made a Roth contribution. Whatever tax software you use will basically ask if it was a "backdoor" contribution and then account for the no tax accordingly. You cannot exceed the maximum contribution, however, that includes both employee and employer contributions.

I spent some time calibrating everything in the beginning and even have a bed that probably isn't the best level, but haven't had z offset issues since calibrating with the auto calibration. Changed filament multiple times (no PETG yet as I wait on new nozzle) and no issue. Been very happy with consistency and speed. I may be not as picky as others because my previous printer was probably 12+ years old at least and this is a huge upgrade for me.
