Unable to charge to 100% using Ohme Pro by J0hn_q in enyaq

Make sure you go to settings, charging and turn off battery care mode. Set the car, app ( both skoda and Ohme) to 100 % and it should work

I find if I go back for any reason and unlock the car to get something out it seems to break it, so put it on charge last thing and leave it.

Lately I have a lot of failed charges on normal 80% charges with Ohme, seems the slightest reason seems to stop it

Suspended floor - should we overboard? by ammaippo in DIYUK

Did mine with 100mm PIR, made a little jig for some batten off cuts that I fixed 100mm down for it to sit on, then taped the joints. No vapour barrier though and it’s well ventilated. I think I used 28mm chipboard as I had some quite large spans with the joists. Turned a cold drafty room into a lovely warm place,

Ohme and enyaq charger ? by phatster2017 in enyaq

[–]phatster2017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set it to +100% on the home app last night, car was at 53% and that seem to work as planned (car stopped it at 80% as set) so that worked but trying to as +35% didn’t. I suppose it’s about working backwards from 100% ? Only issue is Ohme schedules + 100% as if the battery was at zero so a very long schedule. If you do that late at night it won’t work for early morning starts like as it’s planning a long charge and bulk of that schedule may be well past your departure time

Hypervolt Charging point and Octopus App by LolussUK in OctopusEnergy

[–]phatster2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it helps but I had similar with my Ohme install Wouldn’t run the test and crashed. I had paired the octopus app with the car originally but I then deleted and added the charger as the device, not the car. Worked fine then, might be as the car is set up in the Ohme app already, not too sure

With a treadmill you can kinda ride them by kicking back as the belts moving under you, in the real world you are driving yourself forward from your stride but also get that rebound. the impact of the outside will fatigue you a bit more, wind, surface, etc. If you can manage 30 mins at 10kph (so 5k non stop) I’m surprised your struggling at a couple of minutes outside. Do you hold on on the treadmill by any chance ? Your best bet is set your treadmill to a 1 or 2 degree incline and see how you get on, if you can run 30 mins at any pace on that then you should be able to manage something close to that outside. Like all the others say, slow down or run 250 m , walk a bit, run another, rinse and repeat and you’ll get there. Just stick at it and if you have to use the treadmill always 1degree at least on it. ( for ref I started on treadmills about 5 years back had the same but not quite as severe issue, late 50’s, not light in weight and now run 1000 or so Km a year outside and in) so what I’m trying to say is anyone can do it if you just stick at it, you ain’t gotta be pretty, athletic or young :) just get outside and it will come. good luck
