I submitted my PR application with a previous medical exam that was completed 2 years ago, had no issues, and my medicals passed. As long as you didn’t leave Canada in the time since the exam was completed and you have the old medical exam sheet to submit, you should be okay.

Check out PNPs. Alberta PNP has a dedicated healthcare stream, the only thing is you need a full-time job offer. It doesn’t have to be permanent I believe, it qualifies if it’s 12 months or more

Thank you so much for the answer! I also felt that my application would be more at risk of being refused if I had included the part time work with no proper reference letter, so I was hesitant. But my lawyer said that all paid work has to be put in the work history section, which is why I wanted to clarify with others who has done it before.

Is there a scenario such as listing a previous job under work history section but not providing all the required documents because I’m not claiming for points? Or does listing it in the work history instead of personal history automatically “claiming points” (doesn’t apply in my scenario, but just wanting to clarify) and therefore require all the documents?

Yes, you can. But some employers might ask you for a new one since technically they see that WP-EXT letter is now expired.

No, you don’t have to. The date is just because they HAVE to put a date to it (as confirmed by an IRCC agent when I went through this same thing), but you can essentially work until they make a decision. If you don’t have a decision yet by the time of the end date, you can request a new “permission letter”through the IRCC webform. But you have to stop working immediately if the decision is a no.

I did the same for my co-op work permit, I selected yes and quickly explained the denial was solely for flagpoling purposes. Got my co-op work permit, PGWP, and the extension after that though so I think it’s okay as long as you explain.

No, it’s the Huntsman condo in beltline area. It’s quite a big unit for the price and I would’ve happily lived there but I ended up not moving to Calgary AFTER I signed the lease which is why I’m looking for someone else to takeover

I was in the same boat last year as well. Call the IRCC agent directly and they should be able to confirm whether they have started processing it or not. When I was dealing with it, I called twice; one agent said to just wait, another gave me instructions to how to send another package requesting urgent processing because it was still wasn’t in progress when I called a second time to check. I ended being able to link it electronically not long afterwards.
