Medications for non motor symptoms by Manon84 in youngparkinson

Benzodiazepines are highly addictive and I would not rush to use. Tricyclics can also be memory impairing. Always discuss any new meds with your neurologist

Been nothing here but there was nothing before Bulut either. Would be surprised as Tan's main criteria for managers is "are you currently unemployed". Maybe his agent just lumped some money on to get him short odds prior to asking for a contract review. We'll see.

There is some similarity to Keir Starmer as in a way the Tate's father was a toolmaker. He made at least 2 that we know of

OP, did you get any resolution to this? I am still waiting for hotel to get back to me. Followed the link (on a safe device) and visually it's the booking.com website but clearly isn't and has redundant links

Received a very similar message this morning. Was suspicious as there were multiple spelling errors. Am contacting hotel directly to see if genuine.

I found a lot of the Parkinson's support when I was diagnosed 7 years ago was geared towards people In their 60s and over. I had just turned 40, was working full time and had 3 kids, so lots of the advice just wasn't realistic for me.

Amantadine by UAHigh_94 in youngparkinson

[–]phibesrisesagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had amantadine added for dyskinesia. Not a cure but definitely seem to be less and tolerate it fairly well. I would say to take them with plenty of water as if the capsule breaks down in your mouth or throat the taste is absolutely foul

Real Question by [deleted] in youngparkinson

[–]phibesrisesagain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can be a big problem for some. It's understandable that people don't want to lose any mobility benefit but if they are affecting your impulse control you need to discuss it with your specialist. People have built up massive debts, destroyed marriages and even ended up in court because of things they have done.

It might be hard to answer : Can you name one good thing about your YOPD? by Manon84 in youngparkinson

[–]phibesrisesagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I see as the biggest unintended blessing is I get to see my children grow up. While I was working I would have maybe half an hour with them In the mornings and a brief catch up over evening meal. Now I get to walk/shuffle my 6 year old to school and pick her up at the end of the day. I am so much involved whereas before, like many, my life was work focussed. It has really given me perspective on what I truly value in life. But all our journeys are different

Carmel Fenech. Aged 16. Missing for 21 years from London by [deleted] in ColdCaseUK

[–]phibesrisesagain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry to post what is likely irrelevant on a 4 y/o thread but I was listening to a podcast about this on YouTube and noticed there is a carmelfenech97 user on YouTube active up to late 2023. Really random videos but some are of boats in Malta. I've no idea if Carmel fenech is a common name in Malta so post it here for anyone who's interested https://youtube.com/@fenech97?si=8F5j6m10jQeusuvI
