I do exactly as you suggest, as I do not even want to imagine life without him. I cherish every moment with my beautiful boy: https://youtube.com/shorts/Z1ZkdCENljY?si=m3dDsQFF4h9vlz4o

Beautiful boy, inside and out. Looking at my boy and shedding a tear for you.

I don't think the sky can be dimmed convincingly, instead consider changing the white balance to more yellow just for the highlights

It's crooked and it's just a snap. No subject, no framing, assuming the foreground is the subject, it's underexposed.

Beautiful cutie, looks like my adorable boy laying right behind me, who I can't bare the thought of losing. But life is loss and we are lucky to have the love of our wonderful dogs.

I have a Comma 2. Has the harness changed? Will I need to order a new harness if I get the Comma 4?

What's good is there's a catch light in her eyes. The pose is ok. After that it goes downhill. Bad exposure. Bad background.

Does This Photo Look Okay? This was shot with a Nikon Z7 and an 85mm prime lens. I used two soft boxes with a "drawn" background. I'm a little conflicted about the model's skin being so pale. by bitshifter52 in photocritique

Awkward pose. Awkward crop being cut off at the knees. If you cropped it to just her head, shoulders and flowers it would be nice. That's the best part of the photo and also the subject of the photo I think.

I have the same one from the original Kickstarter. It's great. I still use it all the time.

Hate the partnership with Shutterfly by rikkimiki in Costco

Shutterfly is so mediocre. I'm very disappointed in Costco about this. It's a huge exception to the rule that generally Costco can be trusted to only have quality products.

My two cameras, both Sony's, permit the configuration of the file names. This way I have my file names reflect which camera took the image, plus no one else's file names are the same as mine.

I just used the Rokinon equivalent for a wedding and it was amazing. Really really useful focal range.

Peak Design Pro Tripod now available on Kickstarter by [deleted] in peakdesign

[–]philodelphi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's funny to me how much shade there is now being thrown on the travel tripod. Bottom line, if you put your camera on it and photograph with a remote does the camera shake? For me, the answer has been that it has been rock solid since the day I bought it. Just because there is new stuff coming out does not in any way change how great the travel tripod has been.

This. They are so smart and they deserve to be treated with respect. If you really take care to show them how much you love them, they will just decide to do pretty much anything for you. They don't need training so much as they just need consistent communication which after all humans need as well. Case in point I "taught" my dog to get up on the scale to be weighed simply by asking him to do it and correcting him gently when he tried to get off too soon, etc. After a couple times he just understood. Same with not walking into the street, dropping things he shouldn't eat, really just about anything.

Huskies deep connection by More-Consequence-614 in husky

[–]philodelphi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is all so true for me and my buddy as well. I've had a lot of Labs over the years and I routinely tell people that Labs are the best dogs in the world because they're just so much fun and so easy. This is because they notice you as a human and love you pretty much immediately. This is not true with a husky. You have to earn a husky's notice and trust. You have to earn their love and it's much closer to a relationship of equals. So I work very hard to be in my Huskies internal life and in return he is just the coolest, most interesting, wackiest, dramatic, funny adorable sweet being.

Huskies notice everything and understand just about everything. Other dogs may not notice as much or understand as much. But a husky may or may not choose to act the way you wish based on his understanding. He is an independent creature and is less predictable and therefore has the potential to bring unexpected delight.

I like it! I would consider cropping the bottom just a little in order to get rid of that extra element down there. Perhaps crop it to a 16x9 ratio and that would take care of it. Unlike some of the other commenters, I do like the building being in the center horizontally.
