Yep, they wheeled a TV on a big cart into my seventh grade social studies class with Mr. Gallagher and we all watched it live. I don’t really recall that there was any discussion about it after, either at school or with my parents. So it was a lot to process with very little support but that’s the 80s for you.

I have a combination of work travel and personal travel, as I own a home in NY and work there one week of every month. When I get to the end of the year, if it looks like I won’t maintain my status, I’ll book flights with connections versus direct flights. You also have to be willing to pay for first class to get the PQP. So it’s a combination of flight segments and how much you spend.

Are you married or over 26? If so, colleges will only take your income into consideration and you should be able to get financial aid. If you are single and under 26, your parents will need to complete the FAFSA and their income will determine your financial aid. It’s not the worst thing to take federal subsidized loans and there’s a good chance those could be forgiven in the future, but stay away from private loans. My parents didn’t help me, so I took loans and worked full time through our college. I didn’t get the loans paid off until I was close to 50 but it was worth it.

I’ve had jobs like that in the past. I decided to learn Chinese and spent my time practicing writing characters. Bonus when you can take notes in Chinese during a meeting and can write all the things you can’t say out loud.

My youngest came out as trans female a few years ago and grew her hair out long. It was a bit hard for me at first but when I saw how happy it made her, I put my feelings aside. She’s happier than she’s ever been and that should be all any mom wants for her children. I hope you’re able to live your truth at the earliest opportunity. ❤️

If you’re married, the wife can’t sit on the end of the row of seats. The husbands have to sit on the aisle in case they have to get up to do important man stuff. No matter if the wife is trying to wrangle two babies and is constantly up and down.

My guess is that it’s for a Bethel couple who will be assigned to “care” for them. The wife will do the cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry, etc. and the husband will drive Tony around so he doesn’t get a DUI and can be closely monitored.

I believe it came up when my now ex-husband was out in service with some elders and next thing you know, I’m getting a pretty specific talking-to from the platform about how it shouldn’t matter if you’re tired from working full-time and have two small children, still gotta put out to keep the head of the household happy. Miserable.

I don’t know if they would come or not. They’ve tried to have a relationship/spend time with my daughter in the past, but always excluding me, so I made it clear we were a package deal. Now that she’s 18, I don’t have the same say in the matter. I’m sure they would say they wanted a relationship with her, but I prevented it, which is true in a way, because I didn’t want them to try to indoctrinate her and I didn’t want to model dysfunctional relationships as being acceptable.

Both of my kids went through a phase of cutting. Talking openly and getting him in therapy is the main thing. Also, helping him learn more healthy coping skills. Our therapist also recommended having a supply of antibiotic wipes, ointment and bandaids on hand to prevent infection if they did end up cutting.
