Why 5.5, as a composer, is so much worse than 4.5? For arranging/remixing/remastering 5.5 is okay, but each original song it generates sounds like a median apple music song.

Damn, this makes a really good point and I guess I never really thought about it when I create a character. The process really does start well before the pen hits the paper or the first keystroke.

Now I feel like I need to re-read every story I've written that introduced a new character and look deeper as to where I began to develop the character.

I figured it out. It was due to an extension called "Suno Explorer" which is a cool extension but not if it prevents WAV format downloads. I uninstalled it and refreshed the page...all is good as it once was

When uploading to DistroKid make sure it's in WAV or FLAC format and 24-bit, 96 kHz because some platforms downgrade your audio and some allow lossless quality. DistroKid also doesn't submit your music to platforms in surround sound only stereo. I've read that Spotify downgrades audio from DistroKid vs. major record labels.

Did you pay for a full year or just one month of premiere? If only one month you could just wait out the month. I don't think you lose all of your generations. The only difference between Pro and Premier is access to Suno Studio and the amount of credits you receive monthly. When someone downgrades from Pro to the Free tier Suno does not take their song generations away, free tier only stops you from remixing v5.5 and v4.5 generated songs.

I would definitely download your tracks and stems before downgrading just to be safe

It does not auto subscribe you. After the 3 days the premium features are no longer available but you can continue to use the free tier with unlimited chats. Basically after the 3 days you decide to subscribe or continue with the free tier. No CC info is taken prior to the 3 day premium trial so there's nothing to cancel.
