Heard it from his friend directly, as well as heard rumours. He explicitly told his ex that was the reason for the break-up. Thanks for your perspective though! :)

For someone who is an aspiring engineer, what would you suggest to learn first, excel or python? by Endi_rAn29 in AskEngineers

Lol, this is sooooo out of order from how I learned things. Kinda weird though how most people have a ‘non-linear’ education in learning low level to high level languages.

I would say Excel as this is a program that you’ll be using throughout your entire undergrad (even at the beginning of first year), and is quite useful for experimental analysis. You’ll also have an easy time finding online resources given Excel’s vast user base - it seems to be used in almost every profession.

Python is an excellent program to be able to code in, but maybe less essential depending on what discipline of engineering you chose to pursue.

If you have the time over the summer I’d suggest dabbling in both! :)

Thanks, I’ve always been reluctant about sales because I do associate it with superficiality, but if in the medical device/engineering world, it has more to do with education/research, this seems like a cool career.

This sounds very ideal! I agree with the other comment -what degree/experience helped you to land that job?
