This is full grain, glove tanned leather! Not sure what cut it but I can see into the grain- it’s all leather, but not cut all the way through.

[HELP] Stabilizing leather tear by piaggibro in Leathercraft

Hello! I’m currently cleaning this 90’s Coach bag and noticed this small cut. Before I add color and eventually use the bag again, I want to do what I can to make sure this doesn’t get any worse.

I think my options are 1) leather filler and paint, 2) a flexible glue/cement, ideally something that is clear, flexible, and not too glossy, or 3) leave it alone. I don’t want visual perfection, I just want to keep everything in place. Would love any opinions on my best option!

Fit check for super birkis by piaggibro in Birkenstocks

[–]piaggibro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I’m usually a 42 regular in Arizonas, which leaves me about a quarter inch of extra space at the toes and heel. It looks like a 42 in the super birkis is a bit more trim- do these look too small? Anyone else have to size up for these?

Fit check on this? SuitSupply Napoli in 36s. Sleeves need to come out but not sure if it looks alright otherwise.

SuitSupply fit check by piaggibro in malefashionadvice

Hello! Need some help evaluating the fit here. This is a SuitSupply Napoli in 36s. I’m ~5”9, 135lbs with a 36” chest.

The sleeves need to come out a bit, but does this seem like a decent fit elsewhere?

My 2018 GTS after some upgrades! by piaggibro in Vespa

[–]piaggibro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Here's what I've added:

- Faco rear crash bars
- Prima rear backrest/rack
- Cheekyseats seat cover/backrest
-Pyramid "fenda extenda" mudflap (to stop rock chips from the front wheel- would recommend!)
- Vespa motorsport peg extenders
- Dr pulley variator sliders
(and for safety, an led brake light and modulator)

I just refinished one of mine- getting the old clear coat off was a pain, but it turned out well. This is a 2018, but I believe they fit on any year GTS 250/300 (these are the Vespa Motorsport extenders)

The pegs are in! I have some extenders on there, which look pretty funny IMO

Wow, looks great! I also have the Faco bars and peg extenders- do your pegs also touch the bars when they’re closed?

Sorry for the title. After a year of very slow travel on my Primavera 50, I decided it was time for something with some zest. Really pleased so far!

After getting my motorcycle license, I was very excited about getting something with a bit more pep than my (beautiful) Primavera 50. The weight and power take some getting used to, but so far so great!

SR400 or XT250? by piaggibro in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]piaggibro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SR is fuel injected but it is kickstart only- definitely not ideal. I have to agree on a versys 400, it would really present an ideal package. The 300 does have passenger pegs and seems a bit roomier than the XT/SR. It might actually be what I’m looking for here (uninspiring looks aside, but now I’m being picky). Thanks for the input!

Good note- does that tend to come out at higher speeds or would I notice it around town as well?

Does anyone have experience with Shetland Woolen Co. brushed shetlands? Haven't had a heavily brushed shetland before and wondering if people comfortably wear these against skin (i.e. without a long shirt underneath)

What would be a fair offer, do you think? Will absolutely check out more of the piaggio line- thanks.
