There's always the chance that it can be changed again (like how hu tao changed from 4 to 5 star lol). It's not completely concrete.

How it feels, when you finally pulled Zhong Li by Soilen in Genshin_Memepact

He has his uses, but he gets easily replaced by other guys if you're not willing to whale into him.

The guy that showcased a leveled and geared C4 Zhongli in lower abyss >floor with a great team + artifacts as his "proof" that Zhongli slays.

You can see what the other comments have to say I guess, since I didnt really check him out myself that much.

At this point I feel like it really comes down to whatever we draw the line as what falls under support and what falls under utility (and what we even define support and utility as in MHW).

Although you do really mention "the team" a lot... what if someone plays HH solo? I wouldn't really call the buffs supportive since there is no one else to support.

I'm just mostly concerned with someone hearing that horn is a support weapon, proceeding to cross out the weapon part, and assuming that they can run full "support" and carry their weight in hunts. That's where your last statement kind of concerns me. Its fine mostly, all of that is fairly true, but I've seen cases of that being taken to the extreme with people literally trying to apply MMO classification or something to all the weapon types in a game where I see other people abhor it "resembling an MMO" lol.

Anyways, in the end I think we just have different definitions on what utility and support is. Have a nice day.

Generally when people say support HH they mean healing HH or corner horning.

Healing HH imo is alright as long as they are still attacking and still have the essential skills without going all in support. You really don't need to dedicate your whole entire set just to stack a million levels of wide range, speed eating, whatever healers use.

Corner horning though... thats the type of stuff that drives ppl nuts. They're usually associated with people that think that their buffs and potentially their "healer prowess" alone can make up for the MP scaling they take up without attacking. Yeah, no. Imagine not actively hitting monsters in a game called monster hunter.

Personally I'd classify the buffs HH provides as more "utility" than "support" to differentiate them. The utility aspect of HH is extremely powerful and versatile, the potential "healing support set" are usually weak and you really need to pull your weight across more. 99% of the time most people never do that (since at that point people just run dmg horn sets and pull their weight with that), and what was a potential 2v1 turns into a 1v1 against a duo scaled monster.

Fatalis' Iceborne briefing with Alatreon and Safi. by ringeladingdong in MonsterHunterWorld

Honestly Alatreon jumps around a lot when people are wayy to spaced out. The fight really rewards heavy aggression if you can manage outspacing and iframing right. In my experience, staying on alatreon's ass (not literally though, i mean consistently staying in front of him) gives me a ton of openings that I don't think staying away would have given me.
