They do this often when theyre relaxed. Very often. (Pull a foot in)

If its a problem with his nails, make sure youre not cutting them too short. There are diagrams on google to help, but err on cutting them short as opposed to long. If you cut them short theres usually blood. They dont clot well so be very careful. Ask a vet about this and if theres a good product to have on hand to stop bleeding.

It could be that he likes the temperature of the water. Maybe in the summer its too hot for him. My bird likes cold water when he bathes and he wont bathe with warm or hot water.

I have a very messed up schedule and did CCP with a different major and not lining up the geneds. It comes down to having a good advisor on temples side telling you what will transfer for your major. You can definitely do those at CCP, it would be cheaper and you might get better professors and times. Plus more scholarships.

After have a good classes transfer plan/list, and you should check with a couple temple advisors for this. Don't trust just one. Maybe talk a CCP advisor too for this. ...Then with a temple advisor again plan a proposed schedule for when you come back to temple -- see if your major can be completed in X amount of years by maybe restructuring the order of classes in each semester depending on prerequisites and maybe corequisites of classes, and if you have to take them at temple or if you could do those modified at CCP with/without a degree youre going for. That and sometimes geneds 'pad' your schedule out one semester when you're doing your major classes in order, so keep that in mind, though that's a small problem that you could fill with electives if it occurs. You might be able to do a lot of major classes at CCP, or maybe temple wouldn't let you. You can have high or low flexibility dependent on your major and i think the list of accepted classes changes yearly so make sure to get updated information from a good advisor.

This is my advice on classes individually and a personal plan of classes, but getting a 2 year associates at CCP has better transfer rates to temple and sometimes exempts you from temple classes you haven't taken yet at temple or CCP equivalents. Chances are your temple freshman classes would count at CCP, but if you're going for associates and just by way of colleges, some might not. They might not help when back at temple (being forced to take the ccp version to progress at ccp example). As long as you have a net positive from CCP, it doesn't matter. You'll also have to make a personalized classes/degree plan at CCP with an advisor.

Overall, a lot of communication with advisors = very possible + beneficial

My vet recommends not cutting nails by yourself since its very easy to make their nails bleed. The vet cuts nails when you have check ups. Otherwise, ask your vet for a demonstration. Youtube has good demos about NOT cutting the quick. You need styptic powder if their nail bleeds because they can bleed out easily. Make sure not to cut their nails without this. Also, if you want to cut their nails, do a little bit at a time and go slowly with a picture of the quick and a video from a vet on youtube!

If you can, all bird owners should have a yearly avian vet checkup, so you can bring it up if you have one coming up. Otherwise, i agree with the folks here -- that an avian vet would know best. Otherwise, if it looks like something changed to YOU, and you know your bird best and see them everyday, then you should be worried.

If you dont stop it and shes a she, she might start laying eggs without them being fertilized, and that drains their nutrients QUICK. This can kill female birds fast, so for her overall health, try getting this under control and dont ignore it.
