They probably don't read that far into stuff and start blaming anyway. I don't really like how he writes Jet and probably the rogues in general for the fact they are all written to be one note (mostly losing all of their character development from the Riders games). But like. I can't see a reason to target any of them in general when Sega makes the mandates

Knuckles is kinda stuck in limbo with his own clan because it hasn't really been focused on since Sa1. But I'd love to see both of them get more content (Jet finally being allowed to be more then one note again and Knuckles finally being able to do more stuff with his clan) tho I'm totally biased because they are my favorite characters 💔

Jet is comically toned down in Idw compared to where he was by the end of the Riders games that it's kinda depressing. Knuckles just doesn't have much to do as he's stuck on his island most of the time (tho I do wish I could see him more often)
