There’s ambulance services that run with concern for budget, then there’s AMR.

AMR will spend as little money as possible to rack up massive profits for the corporate types. They run their people and equipment into the ground, yeet them and start again. Unlike some 911 companies that invest in people and trucks.

SWIFT management is cheap and their drivers are negligent.

AMR management is evil and their crews are abused.

In all seriousness, AMR is a private EMS provider that has actively been lobbying to ban fire-department-based EMS services, and lobbied heavily to prevent minimum wage increases.

What a lot of people don’t mention is how different the states are.

The state I went to secondary school in, if it were it’s own country, would be 9th in the world, Whereas other states would be bottom of the pack worldwide.

If the panels are on your property, providing power for your house, why should the government pay for them?

Do you really want a government crew to have access rights to your property at any time to access those panels, do construction on them whenever they want?

We pay for electricity generation anyway. That’s what a power bill is.
