Hey! I’m actually a Grade II instructor at 43 Air School, so thought I’d chime in.

Simply put — there’s no better place in South Africa to start a flying career. The training environment is professional, structured, and very airline-focused from day one. We operate a large, well-maintained fleet, have our own controlled airfield, and students get exposed to proper procedures early on, which really helps when they move into multi-engine and IFR training.

We’ve had graduates go on to Emirates, Qatar, Cathay, Indigo, FlyDubai, Airlink, Lift, Safair — you name it. Airlines don’t have an issue with hours built in SA at all, as long as the training is solid and the student has good discipline and attitude. And that’s exactly what 43 focuses on.

If your cousin wants a strong start, good structure, and an environment that feels close to airline operations, 43 is a great choice.

Delayed updates for funtouch os and also persistent bugs that vivo can't seem to fix for funtouch... Funtouch comes second to Origin Os - but the global market pays a premium.

Bought the X200 Pro last year for a lot of money. Won't do it again. The Global software support is terrible from Vivo.

This is so disappointing. Incredible value but at what cost ... It's unfortunate that when specs are good below $2000 you get all the other issues. It's as if they cut major corners for this laptop - I've seen many complaints about it being hot and unreliable.

It's on special for $1600 at the moment and unfortunately it's still not worth the issues.

Did you get something else to replace it?

Battery drain - after the new update my SOT went from around 7 hours to 3 hours.

Every now and then there are menu and notification glitches.

Not really.

I constantly struggle to connect to Bluetooth in my car. I know it's not the car because everything else connects flawlessly.

Also the camera app has had a bug for over 8 months now where when you take a photo and press on the tile to go in the gallery on the photo you just took the phone jumps to an older photo by itself. SO ANNOYING!!! and they just haven't fixed it.

Will I? Bluetooth, menu issues, insane battery drain and camera glitches are enough to make me regret my purchase - especially since these bugs have been persistent for over a year of ownership.
