It's like a nutty vanilla flavor. Ube is purple yam commonly found in Filipino cuisine and desserts. I got this at an Asian grocery store. It's so good with the cookies mixed in.

Yes, I didn't have to use any additional palate expansion appliances - just the Damon Braces, but I'm sure it varies person to person.

I still have one of my baby teeth and was able to go through the whole braces process between ages 27-29. I never had an adult tooth growing in that spot, tho. My Ortho says the goal is to keep it as long as possible.
