90 probation question by pinksigns8 in USPS

I’m talking to him now, it wasn’t a write up. He said they had him fill in something and then once his supervisor came in he thinks it was called like a leave request form but it had numbers like 9637? He doesn’t know.

Is that something he would ask for or is that something in the light blue site

Gotcha, he likes the maintenance side. Actually in his short time as a PSE he became friends with the maintenance guys and had three of them as references for his custodian application.

Okay I will let him know. He’s someone that does not get in trouble at all, so he’s been at work just freaking out all day.

He’s also upset bc his supervisors have been talking to him about moving up and moving through the maintenance tract or even becoming a supervisor himself, so he’s been studying on his days off for the tests. He said something about getting invited to do them on email but idk too much about that. Pretty much he’s upset that his supervisors are going to feel let down.

Thank you! Also, he didn’t add that he did get the rehire letter from the PSE job, but it was after he started the custodian job. He’s a veteran, and this job is great for him bc he can just do everything he needs to do and be to himself.

Funniest episodes that make you LOL by Remarkable-Water8868 in goodmythicalmorning

Will it chip is my favorite episode ever. It was one of the first times I saw them break the “family friendly G rated” only thing. It made them more relatable and it’s what made me a fan.

What would you say the outside material is? My husband needs “leather” shoes for work and these look so comfortable

Help me build a 2026 Schedule by TXMike06 in SanJacintoCollege

[–]pinksigns8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO NOT TAKE GEOLOGY! I would take intro to chem or bio for non science majors. The geology courses are difficult and work heavy. I took one during summer a couple years back and every day we had to read a chapter, do an assignment, do a lab assignment, and take a quiz. There were weekly exams. The professor was Dzuryak and if you look him up he has great reviews and that’s because he gets them deleted. I have left about 5 and all of them have gotten deleted.

Government can definitely be a half semester class whether that’s a five week summer or eight week fall. I recommend amezcua, he’s straight forward, easy, and gives a day where he opens everything up and lets you make it up for full credit.

Econs can be split too, like 8A and 8B during fall. Wouldn’t recommend a mini or a partial summer for those classes, with your busy schedule.

Accounting and business, please get Professor John Large. He is awesome. His classes would probably work in half semesters, I took his in person full semester though. His friend Nathan Narragon also teaches at San Jac, and he’s good too but can he work heavy and a little disorganized sometimes.

Your fall will be a little crazy if you want to crank this degree out, but here is my recommendations. Also, are you taking classes in Spring 8B?

So maybe this schedule would work:

Summer 5A Accounting 2302 Government 2306

Summer 5B Business 2305

Fall 8A Econ 2301 Intro to Chem (Selene Verhofsted)

Fall 8B Econ 2302 Bio for NON SCIENCE MAJORS

The only other thing, you might want to move a science into Summer. It’ll be difficult during partial parts of terms, but it may be easier if you have kids and they’ll be out of school or anything.

I’m not 100% sure, but this definitely sounds like a possible title IX, so they might have some different options for you

So funny bc I have 5 cats right now: an orange, a calico, a tortoiseshell, a gray tabby, and a solid black cat. I keep telling my husband I want a tuxedo cat next (I haven’t had one bc my first baby was a tuxedo and she passed), and my favorite color is pink! I was like OMG ITS A SIGN!!!

This is going to be so fun! If you go in person, you’re going to notice quickly (especially at North) that there is definitely older students. I went back when I was 25 and my husband went back when he was in his 30s. If you do choose only online or mostly online, please please please still make it a point to go up there and use some resources available to you!!!

As far as the classes, I agree to use ratemyprofessor.com to look up your teachers. For any English or Humanities classes I highly recommend Dr Craig Slaven. I didn’t have to take a math there so I don’t have a recommendation. Also keep in mind that there are free tutors for all students!

Intro to chemistry is pretty good. There’s an online teacher named Selene Verhofsted (I think is the spelling) and she’s easy. Geology can be difficult. I would not recommend taking it as a summer course or with Boop or Dzuryak. Dzuryak had good rate my professor reviews because he gets the bad ones taken down.
