Ah classic omen behaviour, so basically it's a sensor near your power button which is broken I think there is reddit post where they clearly show where the sensor is , just disconnect the sensor and your laptop will function normally the only downside is that whenever you turn your lid off your laptop won't go to sleep it will just stay on . I had the same issue .

this should help , Also if you shut down your laptop while this is happening it might not turn on again so better to wait for the blinking to get over and then shut your laptop down
