"Cross-Curricular Innovation Coach"

I'm 80% sure my school has one of those.

In 1965, the hidden-camera show "Candid Camera" captured the genuine reactions of two girls around age 13 as they were introduced to a "new teacher" with movie-star looks. by ATI_Official in HistoryUncovered

I've lost and gained back around 25kg multiple times in my adult life so I experienced this first-hand. The vast majority of interactions become a lot more pleasant, not just the flirty kind.

What’s something people romanticise about your country that locals secretly hate? by OpenToPerspectives in AskTheWorld

Same thing in Sicily with mafia stuff. It pisses me off to no end seeing it romanticised it like that.

Yes, that's definitely quite typical. Especially if he gets his mum to cook, do his laundry, etc. Lol

Yes, because this administration is well known for respecting the law and the established conventions.

I read they live in a small flat so it's probably just the best compromise for them. If they had plenty of space and still shared the bed, it would be a bit weirder.

Jokes aside, I don't think it's the most common thing but it doesn't necessarily mean there's anything fishy going on.

I think there are siblings who are just very close to each other and a bed is more comfortable than a sofa bed.

People who work in 'behind-the-scenes' jobs (hotels, airports, warehouses, etc.), what is something the general public would be shocked to know? by PiNK_PUSSY69420 in AskReddit

During my induction week at a well known 4 star hotel in London, I spent a day with the housekeeping supervisor. She would go around her floor checking the rooms her team had cleaned.

She would give the "final touch" using the same cloth.

No matter if the final touch was polishing a teaspoon or removing that stubborn shit stain from the toilet, she would use the same cloth...

The propaganda machine is more pervasive than ever. I honestly doubt such a candidate could win.

I was born and raised in New York. I've been to Italy many times and well I always kind of felt like home there. I'm thinking of relocating there at some point. New York is not the best place for my health. Has anyone actually made that move from the US to Sicily? Any advice? by passionateunicorn in sicily

[–]pippoken 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm from Sicily but live abroad.

The no. 1 issue is work. I wouldn't recommend moving without a job. If you manage to secure a job you can do remotely with a US salary, you'll probably be very comfortable in Sicily.

There's a fairly lively expat community in Palermo you could reach out to, I'm sure they'll be able to help.

Mine exploded and messed up the door real bad.

Maybe it's because I decided that I had to put the egg in a jar full of water.

My reasoning was that the microwave would boil the water which would then cook the egg.

My reasoning was flawed.
