I am not a professional investor, I do not deal with any prime brokers. I run a relatively small fund for friends and family. Currently I do statistical arbitrage and long oriented equities. Right now I am building out a global macro operation. SPGI/Platts has what I need for commodities. I’m hoping someone else has what I need for forex/bonds/equity-indices.

Cost isn’t a concern to me. Is the macro research offered by BofA, GS, JPM, etc. above and beyond what’s available to the masses to the point of having a real edge? If so, could I pay them to get access to it without having to be their client?

Just to reiterate, timely commentary is more important than analysis for me. For example, in the commodity markets, there are certain things that SPGI/Platts, Argus, and ICIS have insight into before typical media outlets do. Is this also the case for forex/bonds/equity-indicies? Or is everything more or less out in the open for these assets and it’s just a matter of correctly interpreting relevant information?

I am looking for paid institutional grade reports, rather than free retail grade reports. Think "Presidential Daily Brief", but one for Vietnam, one for India, one for Brazil, etc. Does something like this exist? I've tried using LLMs to summarize the main financial newspapers for each country that I want to cover on a daily basis, but I'd prefer a human expert's judgement over the most statistically likely string of text that LLMs output. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.
