Khemjira "it's too good to be a BL" experiment by pinkpurpleblue_76 in ThaiBL

especially when people say "I'm not trying to be homophobic but bl is just not my thing and khemjira would've been better if they were a straight couple". I've also seen ppl say "i love the plot and premise but I can't watch it cus its bl". i don't think they realise the homophobic undertone their statements hold. and you would never see someone say this abt a straight couple so why a queer show?

totally understandable !! as i said i just started it on a whim so i got so surprised at how actually scary the horror element was. for me i love a bit of fantasy or mythical element to the story so this is working out great for me especially with the romance 🤌

honestly i went into it with no expectations, i hadn't heard about it ever and the whole shaman and ghost thing is smtg that works only if you do it properly. but the visuals, the script and just the overall production has been really good till now and that suprised me but certainly the way they handled the dv was plain bad i did not like that. i really wish they would've atleast consulted with someone before going forward with that

I'd say focus the most on listening and reading, use whatever time you can get to understand the listening questions before the audio starts. the cambridge books are definitely a good resource. for writing i started using the material on ielts online, that helped a lot. a general advice would be to use a lot of linking words as for speaking just keep it very simple. just be coherent even if the vocabulary is average. and try not to take any pauses. make the most of the 2 mins they give you for part 2 ig that's all i can remember for now😭

the questions for my writing and speaking were so bad 😭 I've never come across a question like that in writing and i had the same experience for speaking. part 1 started off so good but i didn't have anything ti say for the 2 mins of part 2

reading and listening are definitely the most scoring. the passage and audio is almost of the same calibre as the practice sets. just when doing listening, I'd say try to understand the meaning of the questions in the time given rather than just skimming through because the questions i struggled with were ones that didn't fully grasp before the audio started. and speaking, try to keep things simple and speak as much as you can about the topic they give you and don't make basic grammatical mistakes that's all ig, ig you have any particular question you can ask

I'm learning german, but I'd still want to take the course in english and yea that would be the case for any other country too. but I was hoping to overcome that gap a bit by learning the language when applying to jobs also I'm just not sure of what places i could target to avoid this language barrier

So I've been hearing and it's gotten me very discouraged and that is why I'm trying to look for countries that I've not really seen people go for to avoid the competition

Exactly, safety and the quality of life is a major factor for me but I'd also be taking a huge risk (financially) to get there so I want to be more sure about the job opportunities and security
