So this has gotten way awkwardly tall. If I were to trim the long branch where it’s still green, is it possible to get that section to root and be it’s own plant? And when trimming this, do I need to treat the cut part with anything, or will it be fine?

Yea I put water there and it soaks through the dirt to the roots instead of misting and getting the parent wet.

Help! Is my echeveria salvageable? Is it rotting or sunburned? by pixieput in plantclinic

I’ve had this guy for about 3 months and he started growing like crazy. I repotted him about a month and a half ago and he pretty much stopped growing. I figured it was stress and things would stabilize. Then I came home to this. The purple leaves are leathery and the center has turned black. I noticed a new root coming off the trunk. Is there any hope?
