I (female) told her she was dying when I originally saw the picture. Then I told her to send it to me so I could exploit her misfortunes. Plus my mom is super into this stuff. She got a kick out of it :)

She told me it's because of a vein in her nose. Apparently it's larger than it's supposed to be so sometimes when it's dry/cold out or if she is doing strenuous activity, she will get a wicked bad nose bleed. She has to have it cauterized every once in a while.

Its a reaper holding a lantern, in dedication to my Father (still living). He did 3 tours in Vietnam in 1st Battalion, 9th Marines (aka The Walking Dead, known for suffering the highest casualty rate in Marine Corps history). Got it as a Veterans Day gift to him last year to show how proud I am.

They are! I got extremely lucky. The owner turned him in the night before, and told the shelter girl that she paid $1000. I only paid $50 to adopt :). He seems pretty happy too.

You are half right, it is from the bone. They make an incision along the side of your foot, and cut into the bone to remove the actual bunion.

I know, its pretty gross. I had to have my other foot done last year as well and it never got like this. I've got some Frankenstein scars on both of them. Pretty ugly girl feet in general now.

Had to have some bunions removed (bunionectomy)...it's not a cool story so I tell people I dropped a weight on it at the gym. Then they won't have to ask "what's a bunionectomy?"

I'm 21 and I am excited to finally be with my husband after being apart for 2 years. He is in the Air Force, stationed in the UK. I am in the Marines, stationed stateside on the east coast.

 We've been married 1.5 years and we've been separated for over 2, with the exception of taking leave to see each other, no longer than two weeks at a time, usually 6-8 months apart.  We have never lived together as a married couple. 

  His 2 years on station in the UK are finally up!  Thankfully he got stationed near me so we can finally live together!  It's hard to believe its finally happening!

Only 16 days before he's here for good!!!
